Two Early Picks

I woke up early this morning to get some studying and reading done and found a little time to research some early picks. Here’s two games I like early, I’m making this very clear that it is EARLY, so jump on these lines quick before they move.

Picks are for entertainment purposes only. If you are going to place a wager, make sure you are of age and that gambling is legal in your jurisdiction.

Let’s cook:

Missouri vs Vanderbilt -1

Vanderbilt is playing Missouri today at home. It is Senior Day for the Commodores and it seems that the trend lately has been that the home team wins on Senior Day. Vanderbilt also just plays very well at home in general and has one of the tougher gyms to play in, in the SEC. Neither team has played well lately, so this will probably be a pretty good team. Any time you get two mediocre teams playing each other, it always makes for good competition. The slight edge here is given to Vanderbilt based on their home court advantage. If they want to get a win, they will have to shut down Kassius Robertson. His shooting percentage is first in the SEC coming into the last week of the season. Robertson also has eight 20 point games in SEC play this season. Vandy will have to play better defense and feed off of their home atmosphere one more time to get a W against the Tigers.

Chicago Bulls vs Charlotte Hornets -10.5

I know this seems like a lot of points to cover, but the Bulls just lost to the Nets by 17 points last night. Their poor play coupled with having to travel right after they played a terrible game will not bode well for them. Simply put, the Bulls are tanking. They have 0 chance at making the playoffs this season and are giving guys like Cameron Payne freedom to do whatever they want on the court. Any chance you can take to bet against the Bulls for the rest of the season is a good bet in my book. The Hornets are actually playing for a playoff spot and I don’t think they’ll let up tonight against the Bulls. As of now the Hornets are 4 games back of being the 8 seed for the playoffs. The Hornets have also not lost since the All-Star break and have put bad teams away with ease, beating the Nets by 15, the Wizards by 17 and the Pistons by 16.

Might have some more picks later too. #RideWithMac
