Follow the Money

Today these picks are going to revolve around where the money is going. All picks are from the Big Ten tournament. All picks are for entertainment purposes only. Only place a wager if you are of age and gambling is legal within your jurisdiction.

Wisconsin +2.5 vs Maryland

Wisconsin has been playing really well lately and they are seeing 49% of the money in this spot which is good enough for me. This one is a close call, but sometimes you gotta put yourself out there and hope for the best.

U150 Michigan vs Iowa

This is an early game and the early games have a ton of success hitting the under. This happens in the NBA as well when they play at weird times on Christmas day and the day of the Super Bowl. Michigan has been the best team in the Big Ten to close out the season and has really improved on defense lately. They should have success early against Iowa and hopefully will limit the three point barrage from Jordan Bohannon.

U132.5 Penn State vs Northwestern

This one I had to jump all over, no pun intended. The over in this one had 55% of the tickets and only 23% of the money. Like I mentioned in the Iowa and Illinois preview yesterday, this means that a lot of people smarter than me are betting the under and I will not fade them two days in a row, I learned my lesson last night. Both of these teams have really inconsistent offenses as well and could put up 70 or 50 and either would be fine with them.

O126 Rutgers vs Indiana

The over is getting hammered in this position seeing 97% of the money and this line doesn’t make much sense to me. This is a later game so grogginess and weird timing is not going to be a factor. Rutgers played very well last night and could be a little tired out, but they’ll have just under 24 hours to recoup for this one. I expect a higher scoring game in the 70s out of this one.
