Wednesday Morning MLB Bets

Nationals-Mets Parlay

There are a lot of stats that say both starting pitchers for these teams (Scherzer and Syndergaard) are bad in the situations that they are in today. I’m going to ignore those stats and use a little eye test and say that both teams should get a win today. The Nationals offense has been surging to start the season and Bryce Harper may not ever stop hitting home runs. I expect to see more of the same from him today and he’ll likely go 3-3 with 2 walks. Big win for the Nats after a bad loss yesterday. The Mets have played very well this season so far and the Phillies have not. Aaron Nola is a great pitcher, but the Phillies new manager hasn’t been predictable with leaving his starting pitchers in, so I’m not counting on Nola to go deep into this game. The over is 14-6-1 through the first 5 innings in Noah Syndergaard’s home starts for the Mets. I expect runs from both teams early and a pitchers duel the rest of the way. Mets by a narrow margin. This is our 300th bet of the season so I wanted to give it its own post. More bets later if I like anything the rest of the day.#RideWithMac
