Giants -1.5 (-115) vs Marlins
Bumgarner is not going to have two bad starts in a row and he certainly won’t lose his first two starts in a row especially against a very bad Marlins team. The Giants have started to figure it out at this point in the season, and while they probably still aren’t where the fans thought they would be at, they are definitely improving. The Giants are 8-2 in their last 10 games and I think they’ll continue their hot streak tonight against the Marlins.
The Marlins have Wei-Yin Chen throwing for them tonight and while his stuff is certainly MLB caliber, the Marlins don’t win many of his starts and they are often high scoring games. I expect the Veterans in the Giants lineup to take advantage of Chen and the bad Marlin’s bullpen.
Red Sox-Orioles o9 +105
Dylan Bundy against Steven Wright spells a ton of runs. Wright has been solid this season for the Red Sox, posting a 1.57 ERA, but he’s given up 9 HRs and 19 RBIs to this current Baltimore lineup leading me to believe that the Orioles hitters have Wright figured out.
Bundy has also allowed 9 HRs to the Red Sox lineup along with 24 RBI. The Red Sox are the best team in baseball and despite some recent offensive struggles, I think they’ll get back on the right track here with this series in Baltimore.
